Meet Our Owner, Charlie
Charlie Pastick, Pool Proz owner, worked with one of the country’s largest pool builders for many years where he gained valuable knowledge in learning the business and best practices when taking on a major swimming pool or backyard project. He was in charge of many larger crews and saw first hand the advantages and disadvantages of a working for a national pool builder that wasn’t local to the community.
Charlie established Pool Proz with a simple, customer-first approach, knowing that for many of his homeowner clients, building their dream swimming pool or custom backyard would be the second largest investment they’ll make in their lifetime. Knowing this carries much stress for his clients, his approach is to first build trust by developing a personal relationship with each homeowner client making sure they know he understands their vision, and more importantly, can help them every step of the way eliminating their stress, and making the project actually fun.
Steven Mazurek
With a career rooted in the dynamic landscape of manufacturing, I have evolved into a seasoned professional driven by a passion for operational excellence. My journey began on the shop floor, where I honed my skills in production and process optimization. Over the years, I have navigated the intricacies of manufacturing operations, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. As I progressed through various roles, from production supervisor to CEO, I cultivated a deep understanding of the industry’s nuances. Now, as an Operations Director, I leverage my extensive experience to orchestrate seamless processes, foster innovation, and lead cross-functional teams toward achieving organizational goals. My commitment to efficiency, quality, and strategic planning defines my approach to steering manufacturing operations to new heights.
Steven and his wife reside in Rancho Santa Margarita, enjoy family time with their three kids and spending long weekends on the river.

Jay Barrette
Having spent over a decade in the Home Inspection industry, I’ve developed a keen eye for detail and a strong knack for identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. This experience has honed my skills in critical thinking, and effective communication, all of which are crucial in the dynamic world of project management.
I’m passionate about bringing teams together to achieve common goals and am committed to fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Jay and his wife reside in Laguna Niguel and enjoy traveling, hiking with their trusted 4-legged friend, and riding motorcycles.

A seasoned professional with 36 years of construction experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Construction Manager at Pool Proz. Floriano embarked on his construction journey at the age of 16, shaping his passion into a lifelong career.
Joining Pool Proz in 2020, Floriano has quickly become an integral part of the team, overseeing projects with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. His extensive background in construction, coupled with his leadership skills, has contributed significantly to Pool Proz’s reputation for delivering top-notch projects on time and within budget.
At 52, Floriano continues to be a driving force in the industry, embodying a dedication to quality craftsmanship that defines his professional journey.
